OAKVILLE, May 7th, 2013 - Whether it is sweet or savoury, classic or creative, the deliciously unique donuts showcased on Food Network Canada's Donut Showdown are turning the iconic donut inside out.  This Tuesday, May 7th at 10pm ET/PT be sure to catch the Tim Hortons Challenge episode in which the winner of the elimination round receives $10,000 courtesy of Tim Hortons and the chance to have their recipe inspire the restaurant chain's next specialty donut.

Donut Showdown is Food Network Canada's half-hour competition show that takes the donuts to epicurean heights, with three of the best donut makers from across North America competing in each episode for the grand prize of $10,000.
