Tim Hortons celebrates Saskatchewan Roughriders' 100th Season with Roughriders Tim Card

Limited Edition gift cards sold at participating Saskatchewan Tim Hortons locations

OAKVILLE, ON - (June 30, 2010) - Tim Hortons today introduced a limited edition Roughriders-themed gift card, celebrating the Saskatchewan club's 100th Anniversary. As a proud sponsor of this CFL club, Tim Hortons issued a special emerald green Tim Card bearing the Roughriders' centennial logo to participating restaurants in Saskatchewan. 

"The Roughriders Tim Card is Tim Hortons' way of showing our pride as sponsors and for our restaurant owners to commemorate this centennial milestone," said Bill Moir, Chief Brand and Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons.  "Roughriders fans also have yet another way to show their green pride and we look forward to continuing to support Canadian football."

The limited edition Tim Card can be purchased today in Saskatchewan Tim Hortons locations and is available while supplies last.

The new Tim Card was unveiled today at a Tim Hortons restaurant on Albert Street South in Regina where Roughriders President Jim Hopson, Gainer the Gopher and 620 CKRM Rider Cheerleaders were on hand.
